Getting Started
In order to create content on this server you will need your Lethbridge College domain account.
Click on New Account in the menu along the top of this page and follow directions
Web documents are served from the public_html folder in your home directory on MyWeb.lethbridgecollege.ab.caAll users are limited to 2GB of storage.Your home page can be viewed at http://myweb.lethbridgecollege.ab.ca/~XXXXXX Where the XXXXXX is your user ID
There are two ways you can add content to your new home folder
1. | FTP (Available on and off campus) |
| a) Open Internet Exporer |
b) In the adress bar, type ftp://myweb.lethbridgecollege.ab.ca |
b) For IE7 users, In the adress bar, type ftp://sXXXXXXX@myweb.lethbridgecollege.ab.ca |
c) You may get an error saying Windows couldnt open the folder |

d) Select "File" and "Login As" from the browser menu bar |

e) In the resulting login prompt, enter your domain username and password |

|

|---|
|
f) After successfully logging on you can update your website by adding content to the public_html folder |

2. | Windows file sharing (Available only on campus) |
| a) On a campus computer which you are logged into, Click Start->>Run |
|---|

 |
|---|
|
b) In the resulting field, Type "\\myweb.lethbridgecollege.ab.ca" and click OK |
|---|
|
 |
|---|
|
Your username and password are passed to the server without your input |
|---|
|
c) In the following window you will see an Icon with your username and one for printers. Double click on your username |

d)You can update your website by adding content to the public_html folder |
